Printheads are the heart of a thermal printer, which makes them a critical element of any barcode label program. But, not all printheads are created equally. Price is an important consideration, but total cost of ownership can be even more important.
Up to Five Times Longer Life at the Same Cost
That's why Omni Systems™ challenged TDK to create a printhead that could last five times longer than competitive products. TDK accepted the challenge and developed Omni 170xi printhead, which has been empirically proven to be the longest lasting replacement printhead on the market at 200km. Other printheads are from 30km to 120km.
As a value-added service to our clients, Omni Systems™ sells the long-lasting 170xi printhead at the same price as the other printheads that run out much faster. When Omni supplies are used exclusively, we will match any replacement printhead price while providing a printhead that lasts 2x to 5x longer for a much lower total cost of ownership.
Together with our assurance of quality and performance, the printhead replacement program is another added benefit of working with Omni Systems.
Program Scope
The Omni printhead replacement program is applicable to all Omni supplies, including direct thermal and thermal transfer labels and tags and thermal transfer ribbons offered by Omni Systems.
Omni’s printhead replacement program is applicable to all of our products including thermal transfer labels, tags and ribbons.
