Flexographic Press Operator

Key Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the operation of a flexographic printing press. The operator will posses a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press. Specific duties include:

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic press
• Install Anilox rollers, plates. inks and dies into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production
• Notify supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts
• Deliver finished material to MFG areas as required
• Ensure that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition
• Understands all documents related to the printing process, and adhere to specification requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum - high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills
• Must have AT LEAST 1-3 years *FLEXO PRINTING* related experience with ability to write and read simple instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
• Should be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Must be able to maintain good attendance and be willing to work overtime, as needed
• Must be flexible in working any shift
