OMNI Systems, Inc., the premier manufacturer of thermal labels in North America, has commissioned additional hardware to increase production capabilities at the manufacturing plant in Richmond Heights, OH. The new state-of-the-art equipment installations include two additional Printing Presses, as well as multiple Automatic Butt Splicers, to bring new efficiency and productivity to the company's expanding business.
OMNI Systems took delivery of two high-speed, multi-color, 16-inch presses in the last quarter. Both presses are now running at full capacity, printing and converting labels at rates of 350-450 feet-per-minute 3 shifts a day, 5 days a week. OMNI has also added two new Butt Splicers for installation in March, these will further automate OMNI's manufacturing processes and significantly increase productivity, provide greater quality control and reduce waste.
